I am really sad about this! I was a dedicated Beverly Hills 90210 fan for the entire time that show ran, I loved it! How depressing! So young too. I am starting to realize that people really start dropping dead from sudden heart and stroke stuff starting right around the age I am now (close to 43)... and some of them are considered perfectly healthy people. It's really disturbing!

This coupled with Keith Flint of Prodigy leave us 1 short of the celebrity trifecta for the day.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I also really enjoyed Beverly Hills 90210.  52, that's my age...

    Sad news.
52 is far too young, and he did seem to be a pretty good guy.
    RIP.
    This weekend we rock Portland

From 90-94 that was my favorite show on earth.  Started watching every week again when he came back in 98.

Such a cool guy. Rest in Peace

That show was huge. RIP. I still preferred Kelly over Brenda.

Ben Stiller did a great send-up of 90210 (and Dylan) on his old show.

Some celebrity deaths just really hit you.

He was the coolest dude on tv for half a decade, man. Sucks.

The cool thing is seeing two entirely different generations mourning him for two very different roles.

That's mostly because Shannen was a pain to work with. Otherwise she would have still been on the show and things would be different.

I was a huge fan of Beverly Hills, everyone I knew watched it and the day after we all discussed the episode.
This is really sad, he seemed like a kind person.

This hits home to me.  I was scared I was going to lose my wife to a stroke last year.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Yeah, they got married, but at that wedding Kelly and Dylan realized they were meant to be together forever and decided to get married too.

@cdthomas1981 I’m sorry to hear this.  I hope she has recovered and that your family is well.

She's getting better, but still not where she was before the stroke.  It just makes me feel for Luke's family, knowing what it may have been like for them.  There was a period where I didn't know what was going to happen.  I'm so sorry to hear he wasn't able to come through.

    Ahh ok.

Im not even ashamed to say that i just bought Seasons 9 and 10 on dvd today.  Luke Perry was the man.  I was so happy when he came back to the show

Never got to watch much of the early seasons because we only had antenna TV and Fox was the most difficult to get. Lots of fuzzy episodes of X-Files, Married with Children and Simpson's.

Didn't really become a more regular watcher until the sweet and innocent Kelly Kapowski graduated from Bayside and moved to Beverly Hills as the sultry Valerie.

Lost interest after a few years and then got sucked back in when Dylan returned. Binged reruns in College when it was on in syndication all the time. He really did make the show 10x better. Watched until the end.
    It's a hopeless situation...
