Really? I think the link I posted was for the Canadian Site. Did you change it over to the American One ?

    Maybe that is the issue?

I did switch it. I figured that they possibly filled their allotment or they don't like me.
    Alright, alright, alright!

  • Have only ever listened to Amorica by these guys. Are the earlier albums good?
Amorica is the only bland album they have. The early ones and even the GREAT Lions are worth listening too.

Amorica doesn't hook me at all like the rest do.

I agree with this. I like Amorica, but don’t listen to it nearly as much as the others.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

Amorica will always hold a special place for me. The first concert I ever attended was the Crowes supporting that album.

I have to say I really enjoy every album.

Lions though, its might be at the top of my list.

I know at the time it wasn't well received, but I just don't get that.

LOL ... I love the CRB. I honestly have not listened to the Crowes in a while because all I've been into is the CRB.

You guys speak blasphemy :not_listening::wink: Amorica is a classic :rock_on:
    A Conspiracy...High Head Blues..... :open_mouth:
Ballad Of Urgency  --> Wiser Time :flushed:
Eddie Harsch (RIP) bringing it all home on Descending

When I saw Neil Young in 2001 Black Crowes opened and was supporting Lions. Great album. Great live.

Swedish radio even broadcast some (or all) of black crowes set. Will have to see Where I have my CD of that.

The Magpie Salute are just INCREDIBLE live...I've seen them 6 times already & can't wait for the next opportunity!
Absolutely love Omission & their versions of Wiser Time & Comin' Home on The Magpie Salute's debut album are really good too!!
Not a big CRB fan...their music is okay, but have no desire to see them live.

Damn!! Bland? I’d easily rank it #2 behind TSHAMC. About half the album is top 5 TBC material and Descending is as good as album closers come.

I also have a strong afinity for Lions. Always assumed it was because the timing of it coincided with my musical coming of age but nice to see some love for it.

I dont think it’s bland, just not my favorite. I love all of their albums.

  • A girl show some pubes and you go crazy.

Compared to the rest of their output it's bland.

But I haven't listened to their albums in years, so today I might think it's fantastic.

CRB does stoner, hippy, trippy music. It’s OK but I left my last show at the break because it’s all the same.

I will NEVER forgive Chris for breaking up the Crowes....a band I loved more than Pearl Jam.

Magpie has 108  bootlegs available on nugs.net. I want to buy one or a few but how the hell to decide? has anyone here bought any? I’m thinking Fillmore. you fucking HAVE to bring it at the fillmore!
