I'll admit that Captain Marvel doesn't look good at all...

    Man I hope I'm wrong.

I'm curious as well. Just worried that Larson isn't skilled enough for a strong 'female' super hero lead role.
    The story looks week.

What is the timeline on this one, pre IW?
According to Marvel, Far From Home is set "minutes after the end of End Game"

So we know that at least Spiderman and Nick Fury aren't going to stay 'dead'...

No one is staying dead and it’s likely that the snap will be forgotten by all but maybe a few Avengers. They will probably go back in time and create a new timeline in which the snap never happens and life continues on as it would have minus Thanos. I can’t wait to see how they pull it off.

Mysterio looks amazing though, he’s always been one of my favorite classic villains and Jake Gyllenhaal is my favorite actor so I’m really stoked for this one.

Dr Strange knew all the possible outcomes and I believe he did what he did to make sure that is what would happen.

The Punisher season 2 back on Friday.  Can't wait....this was my favorite marvel Netflix show by far.  Assuming this will be the last season since Netflix is cancelling all of these shows...

Black Panther first comic book based movie to be nominated for Best Picture Oscar. While I liked the movie I didn't see this as the best of all the Marvel or DC movies. Thought Dark Knight or Iron Man would get a nod first

Dark Knight was basically the impetus for the Academy to expand the field of best picture nominees from 5 to as many as 10.

Pretty sure politics has something to do with it.

Great movie though.  Thought Infinity was better.

As a fan of comic books as a kid but also someone who’s only seen maybe five Marvel films, the Christopher Reeves Superman movies, the Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan Batman films, and Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, I would say that Black Panther is a better overall film than any of the ones mentioned above. I think if you take away Heath Ledger’s performance in Dark Knight, you’ve got a pretty mediocre script guided by an incredibly overbearing director. Iron Man was loud, dumb fun, but I recall Tony Stark being much more interesting than Iron Man.

I haven’t seen Infinity War because I doubt I’ll have any idea just what the hell is going on. So I would guess that while Infinity War may be the better Marvel movie, Black Panther is a better movie overall. I recognize that some of the scenes and characters might be enhanced by seeing other Marvel movies, but I will say that nothing was lost from not seeing other Marvel movies. I don’t think that the same thing could be said for Infinity War.

Yeah not surprising at all.  And unfortunately it doesn't sound like any of these series will be coming to the new Disney streaming service.  Daredevil and The Punisher were my 2 favorites out of all the Netflix streaming series.  Jessica Jones was pretty good too....Luke Cage was ok and Iron Fist was pretty rough.  And The Defenders was pretty bad.

Took an Amazon Prime survey recently where they asked many questions about these shows...what I watched, what I was interested in, etc....wonder if Amazon is considering funding and then showing them.  Hope so!

It'll either be Hulu which Disney will own 60% or Disney+.

Interesting.  I read something that even if they wanted to continue with these characters on another service they'd have to wait at least a couple years since Netflix has the rights to these characters or something like that.

Could be they want to launch a rival type of show since it appears (as shared above by igotid) that Hulu/Disney +.  Gotta imagine Disney would like to make the money Amazon might pay, but also gotta imagine they would not want their rival to show their properties.

    DC, perhaps?

Never heard of it.  Guessing that is not a good thing for them!
Regardless, I hate that DD, JJ, and The Punisher are no longer.

Season 3 of Jessica Jones is still going to air later this year, so that will be the last Netflix/Marvel series
