Sorry if this is not in the right page or what ever, ( i have no idea how social networking on any level works). But I was curious about if there are many fans of metric out there. I am listening to new album and thinking that I have a fair wide range of musical interest, and I am sure most pj fans have an open mind to genre's.
Just wondering

  • Yep, actually going to one of their shows in Edmonton, Ab on Nov 15, 2012. Looking forward to it and have been listening to their stuff a lot lately. They're pretty good, I like the female singers lately as well like Teagan and Sara, Florence, Flyleaf, the Dead Weather, Black Belles etc.
  • Only saw them the once but a great show. Hope you enjoy your night.

Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

kinda just got into them recently. Monster Hospital was the first song i heard from them when it first came out and i liked it, didn't love it though. I just dl their latest album, but haven't listened to it. Really like Breathing Underwater though a lot. :)

Kinda weird and cool but I was born one day after Emily Haines :D (Jan. 26, 1974)

seeing them tomorrow for the first time. Well i kinda saw them open up for The Smashing Pumpkins during the summer but only caught like the last three songs. Art of Doubt was pretty good but not my favorite Metric album.

Absolutely.  I see no reason why LP's aren't made to spin at either 10 RPM or 100RPM.

    I enjoy Metric!
Synthetica is probably my favourite record, I've given it a fair few number of spins.  Seen them live twice, and they rocked.

I don’t know that I could rank the albums, they’re all so freakin good! I got into them when Fantasies was released so that one holds a special place. I was thus stoked that they ended the show with Help I’m Alive last night!
