As a fan since '71 I've never said or even think the breaking of the rules didn't happen. It did happen I just don't think the Patriots gained any advantage in what they did. The price is being paid in that they will forever be called cheaters regardless of what evidence may say otherwise. So yes continue to call the Patriots cheaters of the NFL and have their championships voided.pjhawks said:

My Vick comment was in response to your Aaron Hernandez comment.
You made the comment basically inferring the Pats drafted him knowing he was a murderer. this happened after he was on the team, you don't criticize the Panthers for drafting Rae Carruth. The difference is the Eagles signed Vick knowing of his criminal activity cause he just got out of prison. So skip the moral outrage. Every team, including and possibly most notably yours (remember they traded for Michael Bennett just after he beat up an old woman at the Super Bowl) will turn a blind eye to some player off field issues to gain an advantage on field.
This weekend we rock Portland0 -
the Aaron Hernandez comment was in jest. It was made because Patriots fans are the only people in the world who can't admit they were caught cheating, so as a joke i inferred you all probably think Aaron Hernandez wasn't a murderer even though he was caught. Multiple Pats fans are on here claiming they weren't cheating or it didn't happen. The league multiple times disagrees. as does the rest of the world. Brady is the greatest QB of all time...and was suspended 4 games for cheating. that's not an opinion. Michael Vick was a dog killer and a felon and was suspended for it. both are clear as day yet only one side is claiming the truth is not the truth.Poncier said:

If the NFL "investigations" were presented in a court of law before a jury, they would have been acquitted, every time. The NFL caved to a bunch of whiney ass owners, Irsay being the whiniest, who are tired of being left out of the winner's circle, and the NFL is desperately trying to spread the wealth in an effort to maintain fan bases and interest. Watch the officiating closely on Sunday. "The league?" You might as well say "the cartel."pjhawks said:

Never said the Patriots did not cheat whether it was to gain an advantage or not. They broke the rule therefore it must be a cheating culture up there in New England. I can understand the disdain towards the Patriots especially since they win every now and then. If they were losers most of the time their cheating would probably NOT runb non fans the wrong way.mace1229 said: loo mo

Yea and for the AFC Championship games Pats fans were up in arms before the game because the ref was the same guy as the deflate gate game. and they ended up getting the benefit on a few 50-50 calls/challenges...so yea it was a giant conspiracy against the Pats then too. just stop.Halifax2TheMax said:

I don't know if it's a sign I'm getting older or that no one really cares about this matchup, but I have not heard a single person bring up the Super Bowl in conversation and who do you think will win and plans for getting together this entire week. Not one person. Usually a few people send out the square where you can bet $5 on the final score and I haven't even seen those. I can only deduce is that most are tired of watching the Pats and no one knows / cares about the LA Rams.
