For sure, but we always get drips of info about the recording process before a release. All we have this cycle is "a few members jammed together a few times."HughFreakingDillon said:

Well, there were a few in this thread who seemed to believe that a couple of goofy DJs in Philly had some sort of inside info that nobody else in the world did. But other than that, you're right.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:Not a single person anywhere believed this thread"I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080

Exactly. I wanted and continue to want new music...even if deep down I knew the rumor reeked of bullshit.HughFreakingDillon said:

I think they said in the clip that the music was Mike McCready, anyone know what song it was??

All I am saying is watch the video, they are not stepping off the rumor, they did use it to play the one guy. I am not saying there is anything to this at all, but I freely admit, both the DJs have closer contacts to Pearl Jam than I do. That being said, I still think a game of telephone happened and "dropping" vault 8 later this week, became, dropping new music.JimmyV said:
Didn't they essentially start the rumor earlier this week? New music will eventually come but this was all to hype a bit on their show.PB11041 said:If you watch the whole video, they are not walking pop back on the rumor, they just used it to bust this guys chops, but they still think something is happening, which I still think is Vault 8His eminence has yet to show.

If you like that bit, check out his score for "The Glamour and The Squalor" - it's better than most of Backspacer & Lightning Bolt (IMO, but I love scores). He's got some serious talent for it.. I'd love if they released some broken-down tracks instead of full-blown studio stuff.silvo said:silvo said:I think they said in the clip that the music was Mike McCready, anyone know what song it was??
Scratch that, found it its's 'Sadie's Theme (Dark)' from the Sadie Soundtrack......I like it0

I'll check that one out now. You'd think with all these great ideas they keep coming up with individually, creating new PJ stuff would prove as difficult as it appears...….here's hoping0

Honestly, I'm surprised the band didn't hype the album up more... they've been doing it for his more recently scores (and even that small contribution to the Elvis movie), and TGATS is still my favorite of his.silvo said:Crew said:
