They are now quoting discussions between members as news.

Its like this asshat DJ on 94.3 the shark on Long Island....Orlando....hes a total tool, his voice gets on my nerves

He always goes out of his way to say "Pearl Jam not my cup of tea" Meanwhile he doesn't shut the fuck up about them

So I was casually listened to this station last week...and this dummy starts talking about the 10C getting rid of the Vinyl single etc......he says now they are doing Tee shirts instead.....Really? To say you aren't into PJ then to talk about whats goin on here, and to get the info wrong on top of it

Not a lot of good DJ's out there. 92.3 ALT is kinda back in NY too.....the DJs are terrible. Kinda sucks, im not old but I do remember some decent radio people in the 90's..... now its idiots reading stuff on the internet then presenting it as fact

Cane is the only dj from KRock back at 92.3. They stopped playing PJ though.

Wmmr    I’ll trust them over any other station in America.

If anyone is gonna have a scoop from PJ it will probably be them.

Aren't they the station that said PJ would play Philly last summer?

It seems like the days of DJs being insiders and influencers is pretty much history. Guys like Marco Collins, who launched many "grunge" band careers just don't exist anymore. If John Richards or Kevin Cole at KEXP started spreading rumors I might listen to them and investigate a little more, but otherwise, nah.

Actually, the DJ is right. New music from PJ may drop this week. Or it may not. It may drop this year. Or it may not. So I guess he isn't wrong either way. "I didn't say it would, I said it may!"

WMMR has at least two *huge* PJ fans, in Nick McIlwain and Matt Cord (former Sixers announcer).. if I trust anyone, I trust them!

Yes, but IIRC there was misinformation with another band but the dates would've worked (Phillies were on a road stretch).

I heard Matt Pinfield hosting a Christmas special on Lithium on Sirius over the Holiday. He was playing Christmas style songs by rock and punk bands, including a few PJ singles.
