I’m not shaming them to vote Democrat, I’m shaming them for voting or supporting Team Trump Treason and shaming them to speak the fuck up against the idiot in chief and support someone within their party more capable and intelligent. Team Trump Treason should be primaried by several candidates at least. If not, they’re normalizing this train wreck. How can anyone who claims any religiosity support Team Trump Treason? Where are the outraged clergy? Those evangelicals? Fucking hypocrites. This is the chorus I’m referring to. One lone Mormon and his op-Ed ain’t going to change a thing.mrussel1 said:

Too many of them will split the vote. Hopefully one semi-tolerable one rises to the top and gives him a run. However, while working out last night one of the TVs was on MSNBC, which showed a poll that Trump has 88% approval from Republicans. I don't see him losing the nomination.Halifax2TheMax said:

This is a good question. I would very much like to know how Republicans who claim to hate Trump voted in 2016. I mean, Trump won with far more votes than there are actual Trump fans, so, you know, that's telling when it comes to how much blame rests with so-called sound minded Republicans.Halifax2TheMax said:
Did he vote Hillary?mrussel1 said:
Sorry, but that's a bunch of bullshit. David French has been criticizing Trump from day one, Kristol, Dreher, Sullivan, Parker, Brooks, etc. My brother in law is a professor and colonel at the Naval Academy. He has hated Trump from the moment he walked down that escalator and has been merciless in the criticism. His dog's name is Reagan. He's a Republican. He doesn't own that anymore than you own Anthony Weiner's record.Halifax2TheMax said:
Every repub and those who voted for Team Trump Treason own that shit. Anyone who was in the know or paid attention to Team Trump Treason’s 30-40 year career previous to running for president knew he doesn’t listen to rationality or that anyone with cache was going to have influence. Mitt to the rescue for meeting with him and now writing an op-Ed, much too little way too fucking late.mrussel1 said:
What was likely discussed was Mitt's vision for the foreign policy of the United States. How can you not give a shit? It doesn't make sense. And remember, back just two years ago, there were many who were hopeful that Trump could be guided by rational people. "Too little too late..." What a bunch of horse shit. So when it comes time to vote on impeachment, I'm guessing you don't want their votes either? Because, you know, that will be a bit later on. Get real, man. Republicans during Watergate didn't turn on Nixon until the very end.
All rational people would've preferred the repubs to have been up in arms from day one (like most are in private, apparently), but that's not reality, unfortunately. The real test will be when the Mueller shit finally hits the fan and there's no way to excuse what's in the report. Mitt's op-ed was a nice start to the new congress. Sets the right tone. Gotta be patient and let this play out...www.myspace.com0 -

The Dems have the votes in the house for impeachment so I’m not worried about that. The real proof will be whether 20 repubs in the senate will have a spine to convict and remove him from office. 11 of those 20 are up for re-election in 2020. If they don’t vote to convict, based on factual evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors via Team Mueller, and not chants of lock him up and get re-elected, what do we have then? The drum beat and the chorus needs to start now with Repubs pressuring their repub representatives to allow the Team Mueller investigation to go go forth and be released publically without hindrance. Waiting until impeachment hearings or the release of Team Mueller’s report is too late. And we need more prominent repubs to be speaking up and out forcefully, joining Mitt. Paging Tom I’m a Warrior Hear Me Roar Cotton? Did you see or read of what Team Trump Treason spouted yesterday? Do you not see what further erosion of civil rights and protections he’s proposing? And yet 88% of repubs support him. Yea, I’m impatient because his fascist and nationalist ways are being normalized. Hell, his cray cray is being normalized. The Juggler said:"Too little too late..." Meh. I'm not worried about the youth. They are very liberal by and large. My daughter is in business school at W&M, and she's in a business fraternity as well. She tells me that most everyone hates Trump and his beliefs. And this is business school. When I was in college, that was all Young Republicans.Halifax2TheMax said:And this bodes well for the future. “The left hates America.” Ruined the NFL? No, Roger Goddell did that.

Mitt's in the senate, so that's obviously what I meant and it would not be too late.Halifax2TheMax said:
The Juggler said:"Too little too late..." What a bunch of horse shit.
Gotta be patient and let this play out...
I understand the sentiment but I don't think you're looking things as rationally as you should be.

Rationally? What’s not rational is Team Trump Treason rambling incoherently for 90 minutes while those who remain in his cabinet look sheepishly on and remain silent. And the repub establishment and echo chamber go on tv and rationalize it away likes it’s just an awe shucks moment. The Juggler said:
