    funny, I was just speaking to a coworker who claims that every american she has spoken to in the last 2 years has had complimentary things to say about Trump, from fargo to vegas. I told her that was a statistical improbability given his approval rating. She also said "he obviously loves his country" and "I'd built a wall to protect my country too" so I'm guessing she has heard what she wants to hear.

    funny, I was just speaking to a coworker who claims that every american she has spoken to in the last 2 years has had complimentary things to say about Trump, from fargo to vegas. I told her that was a statistical improbability given his approval rating. She also said "he obviously loves his country" and "I'd built a wall to protect my country too" so I'm guessing she has heard what she wants to hear. 
    This take always frustrates me.  He is so indifferent to the actual good of the country...he's a narcissist who's does everything he does for himself only.  

    And I'll go to my grave believing that this narrative was made possible because his predecessor was black.
