I'm amazed at the love we reject.
I'm amazed at what we accept in its place.

When it's the same old lie I think I died a little
Gun drawn, faces long, how much killing can be done?
It's the same old lie they tell you when you die
There are mansions up in heaven
Fifty virgins off in the sky

When you can't trade today for some far off promise of tomorrow
Can't build love out of guns, blood, and sorrow
They say we can't live together but we know that's a lie
'Cause we know it in our heart we can make it if we try

Mmmmm, late night snack of imaginary pizza with a little imaginary red vino.  Nice!

And then I discovered this guy just a few months ago Tyler Childers, this song Whitehouse Road has got nothing to do with politics it's just good old-fashioned fun song and I thought I'd throw it out there.

The Tyler Childers song Honky Tonk Flame, I Would classify as psychedelic country.   It's good s***.   Since you liked the one I posted before, (Hi!) I'll play you this one called Honky Tonk Flame.  I took a Hiatus from this whole website.  I'm back, going to stay away from politics and religion because thats a Nowhere Road

    Nose On The Grindstone.
I went to a Shooter Jennings concert back in September, got talking to his merch guy, about music of course. He asked me if I had ever heard of Tyler Childers before I said no. He said well now you have heard of Tyler Childers..  He said when you get home tomorrow or whatever, go buy his stuff you'll love it all.  So I went home the next day and got his CD purgatory and downloaded some other stuff and he's correct it's all great.  Another great find.  This kid is 27 years old definitely on my to do list for upcoming concerts.

My cat's name is Meatball.  For some reason he has no desire to chase or eat birds, mice or anyting.   Often times birds sit on the feeders behind him while he's sitting on the window sill  begging to come in.  The birds must instinctively know that he is not a threat.  This is how Meatball tells us he wants to come in. ;)

My second favorite song of the day. Seems like I'm riding in the lounge car by myself these days.  Pretty pathetic.

Thanks and a healthy and happy NEW Year for you too, RYME.

I went to see CLUTCH in Frankfurt and now I'm forced to stay at home for the next weeks… well, I just made sure I will remember it for the rest of my life … lol
I couldn't find a recording from that show so I'll just give you this one with my best wishes for 2019 (to the USA and the rest of the world)
