If you have to open up a line of credit to get a rock poster something is definitely wrong. Seriously. Credit cards are the worst. I first got one at 18 and thought I was cool. I bought all those things I "NEEDED". Ended up following a long road of dumb debt and not saving my money. It took me many years to pay off about 25,000 in CC debt. Now, I have zero balances and always will unless I have a medical emergency and my savings doesn't cover it. If you're hesitating, you really don't need it.

I agree and did the same when younger. Also, I don't think these are going to be worth what they are selling for.

Open up a new credit card and pay it off over 12 months.
That can be a very dangerous road to take. I would recommend against doing that.
Right on, but if you make all your payments on time your credit score will go up
Correct. A lot of the cards offer deals like 12 months no interest for your first purchase. Buy the print with the card and then chop it up. Pay $9 a week for a year and problem solved.

Haha! You could be the next Saul Goodman. Lots of advice, but it usually ends up bad for the other party. I can see it now, "Need advice? Get tough, call McGruff!"

Reminds me of the time I signed up for a credit card at the local AHL game 20 years ago. I did it since they were throwing in a t-shirt. What a deal I thought lol.
