6 years for Darvish money is more than reasonable. Annoying.

All they have been talking about is starting pitching, starting pitching, starting pitching and they miss out on the best pitcher available because of 1 year...

Big fan of Evoldi and what he was able to do this year, but no thanks. People saying Corbin had one good year...

I don't like the Yankees getting outbid.  All in.  Andujar as the main piece for Kluber and Machado.

    Wasn't sold on Corbin.

5 years, $100 mil was the offer.  Why even bring him in for a visit.

That's a fair price. His career numbers aren't great. He'll be facing the DH. He'll be 3rd behind Scherzer and Strasburg in Washington

I like Corbin more than most.  He has a complete wipe out pitch.  He lives outside the zone a bit too much for me, but I think his best years are in front of him. If you think fair price, you're never going to sign a free agent.  Yankees are the biggest baseball team in the world in the biggest market in a 10 year old stadium.  This fiscal responsibility is annoying as hell.

Maybe they should lower the prices for those seats behind home plate? You can see why they're being fiscally conservative.

Not that that doesn't mean they shouldn't spend money because they do need pitching.
    Profile

The Yankees were in a slump ahead of the 2017 season. The 27-time World Series winners had only a 2015 Wild Card loss to show for its playoff appearances during the previous four seasons. More worrisome was attendance off 650,000 from the first season of the new Yankee Stadium in 2009. What a difference a year makes. The team's youngest stars, Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge and Luis Severino, shined while leading the team to the seventh game of the ALCS. More »

You can’t compare when a stadium opens to now. They are far above the league average in terms of attendance.

League average on The right, yankee stadium total in the middle.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Attendance is up but it is also such a small portion of their revenue. It shows them though that winning makes money. They better figure out this offseason

Yeah with the TV money they make they could play to an empty stadium and still afford Corbin, Machado, Harper and assistant to the traveling secretary Costanza. Shallow Hal and Mr. Hankey are not their dad that's for sure,
    This weekend we rock Portland

Trying to have patience but it is being tested.

At this point, I want Kluber and Machado.

This is fucking infuriating. I hate Hal at this point. This teams time to win is now. The al is stacked between Houston and Boston. This offseasons moves cannot be fucking Paxton and happ. Get the fuck out of here

Nope, it’s the Yankees that have a brain cyst thinking they’re not sitting on a pile of money

This latest rumor is a doozy.  I have as much of a chance at being on the team as that does at going through.
