    I'm sure he was joking, but it really is crazy how often you hear people with that as a real thought process. "if it ain't HIV, I don't care". 
    People absolutely think that. Now that they have this new injection drug that helps to prevent HIV infection, plenty of people are excited about abandoning the condom. My own friend, who is quite freshly out of the closet in his late 20s, and so is really, really making up for lost time and sowing his wild oats right now, said that he's excited about the prospect of no more condoms because he got that injection. I could hardly believe my ears, but apparently that is what all the people he's sleeping with are thinking too. :tired_face:
