    Yes, as is 'forced association'.

Unsung pops in and posts or says something that is outright racist or controversial. He then leaves, ignores questions or demands answers for questions that any person of any political persuasion would find offensive and not worthy of answering.

He used to post as a libertarian but it seems he has drank the Kool-Aid. If only for his inability to have an intelligent & respectful debate with anyone anymore.

It is tiresome and SAD! to watch someone devolve.

Seriously I can't decide if you all are confused or if I am.  On one hand you keep telling everyone that in 50 years we will all look the same through mixed breeding, on the other hand I keep hearing that diversity is a strength and that we should love the wide variety of colors.

So which is it?  If diversity is a strength why would you have a goal of having everyone being the same?

Does diversity, in itself, bring ANYTHING negative?  I'm not taking about how others react to it in any fashion, I am asking if forced association has any negatives.
A year or two ago I saw a photo depicting the future world person, a person with all of the features of every race mixed together.  Now, I would not mind that such people might or even do exist.  Cool.  But the article implied that this is not only how everyone will look if the future but insisted on why they should.  I thought it was absurd at best and horrific at worst.  WHAT?  No more exotic almond eyed Asians, beautiful black Africans, lovely brown Hispanics, alluring red headed Scottish folks, radiant and brave Native Americans?  Good god, no!  What a terrible idea!

The idea makes no sense to me at all.  There will be people who look exactly like the race/ethnicity that they are because people will have children together who are of the same race/ethnicity. (I will not use the word breeding because of its connotations). There will also be people, as there are now, that are a mix of two races or two ethnic groups. I'm a mix of Irish and German people - both European but different ethnic groups. There are some of the most beautiful people who are a mix of white and black couples and the the combination of people who fall in love and decide to have children is endless. And no child of a couple looks the same, even if they are of the same combination of races or ethnic groups.

So the question is, to me, a ridiculous one. That somehow there will become one mixed breed (ugh) that will only look one way. Genetics make it unrealistic and not sensible.

    It is tiresome and sad.
There used to be spirited debate of original thoughts (heavily based off libertarian group-think, but still as original as us progressives who also have our own group-think) and things slowly devolved into wholly fabricated photos, fake news memes, and alt-right catch phrases and icons such as Pepe the Frog and the recent blank face image used to depict anyone left of Limbaugh.
It started with bootlicker, statist, and pinko, then Breitbart really took off and it morphed into beta-cuck, virtue signaling, white genocide, forced association, globalist (the new term that has taken the place of Zionist as a dog whistle for anti-Semitism) and others that I've lost track of.
    Sad.

Why can't you answer which it is?

Are we diverse or are we going to be all the same?  If diversity is a strength then why do I keep reading here how everyone is going to look alike?

    Pick one.
    Who says that?

Did you read an article saying this on the gateway pundit or something?
It’s on these very forums.  Which are you not able to find?
Why would looking more alike mean there’s no diversity?

This video shows some interesting predictions for the year 2060.

At 1:45 he talks about the next Civil War being an age war.  Lucky for me I should be dead by 2060!

Bulworth is a hell of a movie. It's about a senator that plans his own assassination. While the plan is taking shape, he becomes an off-the-wall rapping senator because fuck it...why not? And to his amazement, it makes him more popular with his constituents so he tries to call off the assassination. It's really good.  I hadn't watched it in years but Trump's campaign in 2016 reminded me a little of the movie so I rewatched it.

I'd say that my attendance here is really none of your business and my reasons why or why not as well.

If you knew anything of Libertarian core principles you'd know that the following apply.

Do no harm but to prevent harm.
    All associations should be voluntary.
Taxation is theft.  In other words you don't have any right to my labor, and vice versa.

Now while I no longer claim to be a Libertarian, I do still believe in those three points.

Government is force.  I don't believe in forcing my beliefs, even on someone such as yourself, and therefore I will not have you force yours on me.

The common tactic that the left uses is to discredit the source, quickly followed by name calling and attacking the person with the opinion, instead of arguing the point.  Straight out of the Alinsky Communist playbook.

I'm not here to provide your research, not going to use your hijacked vocabulary either,  and really don't care of what you think of my attendance.  My attendance is voluntary.  I have been attacked here repeatedly and never give it a second thought, even by the guy that still lives in Mommy's basement

You want an unsung AMA so that the stalking and screeching to my opinions can be isolated to one thread?  Easy enough to go back and see me devolve, huh?

Maybe you just want your echo chamber.  Get your safe space, huh?

Get your safe space, huh?
so you deride others as attacking the person, and then you proceed to:

-make fun of someone for living with their parents
-parrot the right's stupid talking points "echo chamber" and "safe space".

    the hypocrisy is hilarious.
Is this behavior being normalized? 30:1.

Yawn.  Point proven.  Again.  Usual suspects.

I didn't use names, unlike the obession with some here.

Add to the list of talking points ‘Alinsky’ and ‘screeching’. All shared on the internet which was built by the government apparently stealing money.

    Fake news
    Mixed breeding
    White genocide
    Govt. out to get you

Wouldn't an echo chamber of sane ideas be a better place to have than a place with memes mocking sexual assault victims like where you hang out?

When you respond to me, and use the word YOU, a name isn't needed. It is implied. So don't put up your hands and say 'Not Me!'.

It would be nice if you would respond at such length and with such passion when I have tried to have a back and forth with you instead of ignoring my responses/questions. It seems that it is only fun to respond directly when you feel you have been wronged.

When people with different opinions are attempting to intelligently and politely debate, there is a need for both sides to engage. If someone asks you a question, attempts to answer your question or asks where you are getting a meme or talking point it is helpful if you give a response. Reasoned debate usually doesn't progress when that request is met with either silence or feigned outrage.

I'm not forcing anything upon you, I have as much right to post my opinion here as you do. Interesting that you have taken the most time I have seen in a long time to try and dress down the woman who expressed her frustration and true sadness over your lack of courtesy in discourse. But that seems to be the thing to do. Stir the pot and then be outraged, OUTRAGED when someone finally calls you on it.

I'd like to discuss the policies or points and not the person, so I'd appreciate it if some men on here could grow a thicker skin. It might make for a more interesting and less hostile debate.

The problem isn't with any person's ideology; it is with the way in which they go about expressing it that causes others to become frustrated. But perhaps it would be better if I just do not engage with people who have no interest in reasoned debate.

And I hold no ill will, even with someone such as yourself.

I think this is where I point out all the benefits you derive from services provided through taxation, and then you fail to recognize them or respond to the discussion.
