You know, no matter who is president I don’t think a president should get more than 1 nominee per term. I’d rather go years with a smaller bench than have 1 president decide 1/3 of the court.

What about having a term limit? 15 or 20 years max.

Kind of like those indictments that you said were imminent?  I'm not sure you know what that word means.

I tend to agree... but could lead to issues in an 8 year presidency

I wonder what they had on Kennedy that got him to give them the midterm gift of an unexpected retirement?

Ya'll know that was shady AF, right?

You get 2 in 8 years. Doesn’t seem unreasonable. But I do know what you mean. Perhaps should a 3rd seat open the opposition party lead senator gets to pick :)

I don’t know what the answer is but I’m not sure that a mandatory retirement age is it. I don’t think it’s necessarily a good idea to jettison the knowledge and experience that decades in the profession of law brings.

She has a work out routine that is not walk in the park.

And Kennedy was nudged off the bench with the promise of a protege' being nominated in his place.
