lifetime appointements are just plain stupid. 20 year tenure MAXIMUM. and what mcconnell did to obama should not be allowed. no house majority leader, regardless of party, should be able to do that.
18 years. every 2 years a new justice is confirmed.  also reduce the number of seats to eight or add one to have ten.

you need an odd number, or else you risk it being a tie for any vote.

    Is it on netflix?
    No
I believe that the only free streaming is on Hulu.
I saw it at a benefit screening for the ACLU and ADL
I have Hulu with my Spotify account.. Now I know what I will be watching tonight.

Cool that your dad went to high school with her.
    She is awesome.
She will not leave the SC of her own free will with the Orange one in charge. I bet he is thinking evil thoughts.

Maybe she should retire in a year or so? You know, around the same time another seat became available in 2016? Because, you know, the republicans will just hold that open until after the election... following their own precedent, right?

Are there physical fitness requirements for the SCOTUS now?
Are you ruling out the disabled from serving now?

It's funny, I bet you didn't have a problem with Kavanaugh's maudlin display of emotional instability under oath...

You know, no matter who is president I don’t think a president should get more than 1 nominee per term. I’d rather go years with a smaller bench than have 1 president decide 1/3 of the court.

Kind of like those indictments that you said were imminent?  I'm not sure you know what that word means.

I tend to agree... but could lead to issues in an 8 year presidency

I wonder what they had on Kennedy that got him to give them the midterm gift of an unexpected retirement?

Ya'll know that was shady AF, right?

You get 2 in 8 years. Doesn’t seem unreasonable. But I do know what you mean. Perhaps should a 3rd seat open the opposition party lead senator gets to pick :)
