That I did but you were acting like a major asshole. (I feel like we are in couples therapy). Maybe you were having a bad day/week/month but you were definitely over the top douchey hence the reason for my beer retraction.Halifax2TheMax said:

I don’t like you and I have guns. Seriously? Don’t flatter yourself, in my mind all of these conversations are just talk next to a campfire while drinking beers. No yelling and no animosity.Halifax2TheMax said:
But you don’t like me and you have guns. I offered Unsung to show up with a case of beer and he told me not to be insane. I don’t know if was for bringing beer or for showing up. Or for thinking he might shoot me through the door.mcgruff10 said:
Why are you so afraid to discuss what geographic area you are from? You are more paranoid than unsung. (And for the record, I like unsung)Halifax2TheMax said:
Your post alluded to magazine limits and California having one of the strictest laws regarding but they were easily available elsewhere, thus “something” that could be addressed at a federal level. What about my state or province? 12 or 1,000, what difference does it make? 10 is a nice round number though. Do you really need more than 10 to protect yourself? Maybe from invading caravans?mcgruff10 said:

I have no problem with mag limits.mace1229 said:For what its worth, while although he did purchase the gun legally, he had a magazine extender, which to my knowledge is illegal in CA.
I've said before I'm for magazine limits. Perhaps there should be a federal law for that, because even though they are illegal they are not all that hard to get when they are legal in so many states.
Honestly, I don’t know but I believe we passed a law limiting it to 10 or 12 rounds. But we also don’t have a huge problem with gun violence where I live. Never been broken into, never been assaulted, never felt the need to have a gun for protection. Just not something I think about as something I need to be or feel safe. But more than one death is too many and we’ve had more than one.
I have five kids and I love my wife to death, I do not ever want to spend one single second in jail. I own firearms to hunt, shoot and protect my family. Yeah a lot of people say what are the chances? Well I d rather be prepared than not prepared at all.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -

Oh. So you're saying you'd shoot him, but won't because you don't want to go to jail?
I guess this lends weight to the notion that heavy sentences are most assuredly a deterrent to committing crimes.

The NRA again shows themselves to be supreme assholes, telling doctors concerned about gun deaths and gun shot wounds to "stay in your lane" and grumbling about the fact that they are researching and publishing articles on gun violence.
