This is just part of life here, now. We no longer say much because we have said all that can be said. We are decensitized.

And you go about preventing this with meaningful gun regulations. Geezuz Tempo it's been answered millions of times. You have no solution for the carnage you experience at the moment- previous generations have failed you. But in a decade or so... you have a chance to make college goers safe when they are blowing off steam.
So what?
Does Nevada? Arizona?
Come on, Scruffy. The argument against nation-wide regulation is super weak- as demonstrated by this limp wristed jab.
laws that bad they would have voted blue and not red. Was the weapon used in last nights shooting purchased in Nevada or Arizona?
Which illustrate the failings of a democracy- the inmates run the asylum.
Who cares where the gun was purchased? It was a legal weapon purchased from... oh... say... Dick's Sporting Goods (or Walmart in the aisle next to the kids toys or clothing) in some state by a responsible gun purchaser.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -

I see you waffled on your 'I'm tired of this shit' attitude you adopted after the Vegas Massacre (I think it was that one... there's been so many). Keep trying to convince yourself, Scruffy. And whatever you do... don't worry. I still like you."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

And here we go again, but with a slightly different twist...

I refuse to acknowledge the name of the shooter. They don't deserve publicity. Those involved need to know for the investigation, but the media should quit publicizing the name. If anyone's name should be released, it's the victims (if approved by family of course) so people can see the havoc gun violence plays on everyday friends and neighbors. In this digital age, the name of the shooter will get around anyway, but the media should take the stance of not mentioning it anywhere.
Anyway, I think we fail horribly at gun control prior to purchase and when the individual starts popping up with contacts related to law enforcement and mental instability. This shooter was a former active duty marine who probably suffered from PTSD (my unproven opinion) and we failed to intervene and provide adequate care. When the red flags started popping up, the guns should have been removed from his possession, but we all know that would create an uproar from the 2A crowd. There should be an easily established set of criteria that provide a more thorough background related to psychological assessment before purchase. Then there needs to be a process in place that initiates a review of the gun owner's fitness to continue to possess firearms when certain contacts are had with law enforcement or medical professionals or just every 3 - 5 years in general. Of course that would mean a gun registry. No good for right now, but our future would be much brighter 20 years from now.Local police reported numerous contacts with the former Marine on Wednesday, including a call that led officers to his home in April of this year. Officials found Mr Long acting "irate and irrationally," however, he was not taken into custody at the time. A mental health crisis team was called to the scene.
The suspect also had prior run-ins with the police, including a traffic incident and another time in which he was the victim of a battery at a bar.

And you go about preventing this with meaningful gun regulations. Geezuz Tempo it's been answered millions of times. You have no solution for the carnage you experience at the moment- previous generations have failed you. But in a decade or so... you have a chance to make college goers safe when they are blowing off steam.
On certain weapons and magazines... that would be fantastic!
I did ask a question that was asked before hoping to hear a different argument and I apologize for that.
If I remember correctly, most of the US wants meaningful change.
I like shooting shit... I don't go around looking like "the man" though.
