Oh that's right .. no PJ show tonight. I wonder what the boys are up to .. whether they're still in Sydney or have already flown up to Brissie?

Is anyone taking copies of the emails etc from 10c to the concert?

Because I just left work and didn't print any off. I have printed off my order details from when I ordered 2 Brisbane tix for $174.84. Will this be enough?

  • quick question also...

Did anyone take a bag/backpack to either sydney show?? I'm staying at my sister's in Sydney after Sydney 3 and leaving for Newcastle the next morning...will save me coming all the way back to the gong...

anyways just wondering if anyone did this the last couple of nights?? I can't leave it in the car coz im catching the train up with a friend so will have mainly just clothes and other stuff in it...So reckon they'd be sweet with me taking it in or would it be frowned upon?? :o

I wouldn't worry about printing off emails. I had a heap of printed stuff and took it along and all I ended up having to do was show my Photo ID. She looked at my name on it, found the tickets which were there in an envelope with my name printed on it and handed them over to me.

  • hey, Me and 2 mates got tix to the first melbourne show, the 13th, but can't afford the flights or time off work, we're from perth, trying to get rid of them, we don't want any extra money or anything, just what we paid for them, so if anyone is interested let me know, cheers!

I was hoping it wouldn't some to this, but money controls everything!

I left work at 5.30pm thinking I'll be all packed and organised by say 8ish. Then I can have a relaxing sleep and get to the airport by 9.30am!

Well, all I've done since I came home was smoke some good stuff, drink a few beers and then spend nearly an hour looking for my small black bag for the concert! Which I've found thank goodness. But I'm giving up. It can be done at 6am in the morning! Now I can relax and drink beer for the rest of the night! And wait for my boys!!!

Oh, and it's Leigh's 29th birthday! What a great birthday present -- Pearl Jam! :D

    Camera question:

My camera is on 2048 x 1536 ... what is the best size for photos to be? I don't really understand. My camera has the following size options:

    2592 x 1944
    2272 x 1704
    2048 x 1536
    1600 x 1200
    1024 x 768
    640 x 480

    And I have a 1GB memory card.

how big do want the photos, and how many of them do you want?

a "normal" computer screen has a resolution of 1024x768 and is indiscernible to a 4x6 35mm photo

for 8x10's you want 2048 x 1536, and with a 1 GB card you will get approx. 852 photos on there.

    HTH :)

Thanks! I was just chatting to another friend and since we were thinking that if we get some good photos, we might get them printed A3 size and frame them for the shop, so he recommended changing it to 2592 x 1944. Camera says I have 385 photos on that resolution.

Do you think that would be okay? Is high resolution bad?

  • There's nothing bad about high resolution - it just makes a bigger file size eg takes up more room on your card.

Good! I'll put it on the highest. I think 300 or so photos will be enough! Thanks.

Um yeah, that should be plenty, don't forget to post them so we all can see them. i'm just taking the crappy disposable that i've had in the cupboard for months, it did the job in 2003. plus i don't really want to be worried all night about trying to get that perfect pictuer i just want to chill and enjoy some kick arse music.

Can't wait, see you all there!
