I agree with doing a lottery system for the posters. Similar to how ticket lottery is done. And any posters left over after the lottery get listed in shop on first come first serve basis."I got memories, I got shit"0

Santos saying "when there is supply there is no demand" proves that. After seeing that statement, is when I stopped thinking about the what-ifs. 10C isn't about getting stuck with a warehouse full of posters and losing profits just to make everybody happy. That is obvious, but as a business that is also okay. I don't think things will change regardless of what better solution is out there, because anything other than what they are doing now, means less revenue for 10C. The merch situation and the forced demand around here is genius in my opinion, -crashing site and all. At the end of the day, it's a business, and it's a poster.

Those in it for the event poster will order.
Those in it just for collecting every poster will still order
Flippers will stop ordering.
There would be little change in the total sold unless people are really only buying because of a perceived value that they are never going to realise because they are not flippers?.......
Only flippers loose this way.0 -
Timed versions, or made to order would kill the artificial demand and the microeconomy will go bust. It also does degrade a lot of the 'collectibility' aspect too.
I do still like the idea of allowing 10c ticket holders and possible verifiable ticket holders preferred access, whether its a presale, or some sort of sale window after the fact for the extras

I still believe if we could pre-order the posters along with other merchandise when we get our Ten Club tickets it would be the "cleanest" way to handle this issue and also enhance the concert experience for those attending, rather than spending needless hours waiting in lines with the "professional shoppers" and not being able to explore the city and spending time with friends - which is what it should be about in my opinion. If you are searching for a poster to a show you didn't attend than I am fine with the current luck of the draw system, as flawed and frustrating as it may be. Although if we went to a pre-order system, we might be forced to discuss the shows, the band and the music, rather than posters and other merchandise...How refreshing that would be.

Ten club just handed off their ticketing to Ticketmaster. Highly doubt they want to now worry about sorting out poster preorders and dealing with people complaining that they don’t like the poster or it has a ding in the corner.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh0

I don't know how people complained when they knew they were purchasing something blind. IMO, pre-order is the best solution.Nashville-00

The fair thing to do is to announce a date and time for each drop or at least a date! There were so many people that complained this tour about not being able to get refunds on tickets they were told from the start were not refundable.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh0 -
Loved the poster pre-order in 2009. So much less drama.

Pre-sale would be great, if I recall after they did it back in 2009 they stopped and the rationale was that the band didn't like it - took away from the show experience. I think was mentioned on one of those PJ radio hours with Tim years ago.....
SHOW COUNT: (170) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=114, US=124, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
Mexico=1, Colombia=10 -
and add in an option for multiple posters: check a box for how many you want. if less than all, you'll get randomized.
