    This has been going on ever since they opened the new park.  Those seats are bought up by corporations that don't give a shit if they are used or not.  When they are used they are inside stuffing their gullets with all the free gourmet food they can eat.

    Those seats are not for the average or above average person.  So basically fans aren't sitting there.

    Severino has been left in too long a few times now.  It seems that when he is bad it just continues and he can not pitch his way out of it.

    Severino has been left in too long a few times now.  It seems that when he is bad it just continues and he can not pitch his way out of it.
    I don't have as much of a problem with leaving Severino in to start the 4th as everyone else. I really don't. It's only 3-0 and the bottom of the order is up. I get this isn't a Wednesday in June, but he can potentially get through that.  That said, one person on and he comes out.  You do not let him load the friggen bases and then when you have a bullpen with Green, Robertson, Betances, Britton and Champan, you do not bring in Lance F'ING LYNN TO FACE THE AL MVP WITH THE BASES LOADED AND NO OUTS.

    Eovaldi was just filthy last night.  How is he not a better career pitcher?  Wow.

    Did you guys see that Severino apparently didn't start warming up until 7:32? The TBS announcers speculated that maybe he thought it was a later start.

There is video of the Yanks pitching coach telling Severino that first pitch is at 7:40 and then after the game Severino talked about how he always only takes 10 minutes in the bullpen and Rothschild said he did his full warm up underneath because of the wetness, though he didn't do any long toss on the field.  I call BS and am with you. He thought it started at 8.  I don't understand how this happens.  I think Boone had money on Boston.

    IF he wasn't fully warmed up he could have gone to the warm up mound after the first inning to finish warming up.

    Look, the Redsox were on him from the very get go.

    When balls are being hit to the warning track it's only a matter of time before they start dropping or going out.
