  • Yanks are on fire.  They seem to be peaking now.
  • I wonder if Hicks will be back in the lineup tonight...

Don't want to rely too much on the home run too much
For a team that set the HR record?  What would you like them to rely on?
if it's hr or nothing. nothing usually wins out.
That may be true. Just saying that if this team has any hopes, it's via HRs.  That's how they score their runs. And they were better at it than any team that's come before, so historical context may not be appropriate.  Or maybe it is. We'll find out.  But, to think they are going to start winning by singles, bunting and base running is silly.

And people also say you can't win a Super Bowl without a QB, and I'm guessing the Ravens would suggest otherwise.

Something is true, until it isn't.
Someone is winning the world series hitting a ton of home runs this year

How we feeling?  Big one tonight, I'd say.

    Let's go Yanks!
The Sox have already lost this series. The rest of these games aren’t even necessary, especially now that they’ve lost their home-field advantage. They are going to be painful to watch, but they will certainly be confidence boosters for the Yanks.

I hope the Astros fucking sweep them in the ALCS.

I am not a fan of losing a playoff series to the goddamn Yankees, but that's where we are.

When you get to the point of having 4 teams that are all very good.  It comes down to bullpen in the playoffs.

Yankees and Astros have the bullpens.  The demise of the Red Sox and Indians has been predictable

Lotta baseball to be played in this series, folks

The Sox bats need to rake and Eovaldi needs to go eight innings to save this series for the Sox. I will say that those two things are not impossible.

I am conceding the Porcello game already. That's going to be as ugly as Susan Collins going reverse cowgirl on Donald Trump.

If it goes to five, it matters which Chris Sale shows up.

Its 1-1 and David Price should be kept in mothballs for the balance of the series.
No need to panic. Sox in 5.
    This weekend we rock Portland

    Now there's a visual.

At least you didn't say Suzyn Waldman. (of all the dramatic things I've seen Donald Trump is in Suzyn Waldman's box!)

    This weekend we rock Portland

Oh good. The Red Sox crew is planning a victory celebration in the Yankees thread...

    Let's go Yanks.

And since I missed this weekend, I just want to reiterate for the 1 millionth time, that David Price may be the softest player in baseball.

I’ve made my prediction, Yankees in 4, and stated why, bullshit bullpen. You saw it in games 1 & 2, and I saw it the whole month of September. I’d love to see a game 5 but it ain’t happening.
