We're flying return to Newark from Bristol with Continental for under £800 for the both of us. Bargain!

I'm sure you can find a bargain somewhere if you're a bit flexible.

jrd ... would you consider not flying from London?

If you were willing to fly from Manchester say .... bmi can get you to NY Newark airport (which I know isn't proper NY) for a good deal less

Sure some of the other regional airports must have better deals as well.

yeah, will probably (have to) look into that.
it's just that we live close to Heathrow so it'd make things easier - it's my hometown airport so i should get first choice at tickets to wherever i want to go whenever i want...
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

    hello everyone! :)

oooOOOOooo V, I luuurrrvve that song!

I would've loved to take yous all for a nice stroll around my neighbourhood today. it's been the most beautiful day, all nice and sunny and not too cold.

though I would have borrowed scarves and hats and gloves to everyone who gets cold easily. :)

I was in such a good mood that even putting on my red red hat and red red gloves put a smile on my face. :D

I walked to the post office today (to get my shiny new Led Zeppelin alarm clock!!) and couldn't stop smiling the whole way (and it's about a 15-15 minute walk.) I even sang out loud a little.

and when I got the package the handwriting on it looked exactly like my dad's so for a second I thought "aww, maybe it's not the clock.. but yey something from dad! but why would he send me anything, he lives a 15-minute drive away?"

hope you've all had a good day!! xxxxxx <3

    Good morning all!

I've already posted this elsewhere, but here goes again:

Earth Hour.... it's today (Aussieland already now maybe?). Switch off all lights for just one hour between 8.00pm and 9.00pm. Help promote energy saving and thus less carbon emissions. Why not switch off ALL electrical appliances, TVs and computers included.

I can think of LOADS of fun stuff to do in the dark... can you? :D
