    I am surprised too.  I think because it was titled "Unpopular Opinions" people don't need to respond and argue since the original poster is admitting these aren't wildly held opinions.

    Sleeping By Myself is not only really good, it’s one of the highlights on Lightning Bolt.

    Natalie Maines’ cover of Without You is better than the original.

    Masters of War is a boring cover.  The only good version is the original cover Ed and Mike did for the Bob Dylan special or whatever.

    Yes!!!!! I am gonna get roasted for this but I couldn’t care less when sting came out at the garden for driven to tears. Or when cheap trix came out and did whatever song they did.

    I’d be ok if they never played Of the Earth again.
    And they played the perfect amount of Dirty Frank at Fenway.  Any more would have reminded everyone why they “correctly” choose not to play it.
    And Michael Imbibbo does exist and is alive and well on Elm St in Connecticut listening to “his” PJ20 vinyl.

    My buddy has a gripe about Eddie ever since running into him at a show in the 90's (pretty sure it was a Elvis Costello concert).  My friend approached him, says Ed was a dick, and now he hates PJ.  I've tried to defend Ed's reaction by saying that he should have left him alone to enjoy the show. But to no avail.

    It was in the dark days with my ex wife so I am thinking somewhere in the vicinity of 2003-05. Being with my ex might have had something to do with it.
