I do question why there are 5 posters for some of these gigs. I can see one for each night....5 is kind of ridiculous
I like to collect the shows I attend but I didn't get Ames for Wrigely or Whalen/Klausen for Boston. They just didn't appeal to me
Agreed. Each show doesn’t need 5 posters, it’s a bit much,
There were 5 available because it was the ballpark shows. Arena shows will almost be guaranteed to have just one print each night.
Why does being a "ballpark" show equate to 5 posters? That doesn't make sense.
It totally makes sense. It's based on attendance numbers. They have way more fans at two baseball stadium shows than when they do a tour and play one night in Dallas, Tulsa, etc.

I like the idea of having one print, but a different color variation of that print for each night.
They did something similar for the Spectrum shows. Other than the Spectrum factor, the posters weren't anything really special. Nights 1-3 were on here for quite some time.
I suppose the artist variants could be different color paper, though.

Why does that mean they need different posters? Why not just print more of one? If there was only one print for each Wrigley and Fenway show, I guarantee they wouldn’t still be sitting in the shop.
I mean I dare you to sing "Black" and not feel it.
I dare you.
I've tried to phone in "Jeremy" a few times, and it's tough.
It doesn't work.

I like the variety. Far greater chance you'll find one you like.
Exactly. Some people love some of the posters while others hate them. For example I hate the Jackson poster and think it is one of the worst of the home/away tour but I know a lot of people really like it. So way more chance of selling something vs having just 1 poster per show at these giant gigs. Plus there are also people who will buy all 5 at the end of the day the more they make, the more they will sell.

Good and fair question. I don't know! Most other bands sell prints that are numbered, so fans and collectors know the edition size.
I think Pearl Jam fans do buy most of the prints though. That's why there aren't that many in the shop considering how many shows and prints there have been.

Makes sense they'd print more, but I agree with the question, why 5? Just print a lot of 1 poster, or 2 since they were 2 nights. I guess the answer is how many people bought 1 of each poster. I'm guessing a lot, like myself, have 3 of the 5 or more. I Have zero desire for Baby Brain, and only a little desire for Spaghetti Arms. So the answer comes down to sales and money.
