    Can have some kind of fluffy animal that has nothing to do with hockey, the flyers, or philadelphia.... but its an 'adorable' hit for children between the ages of 4 to 11!

    Or have some sort of unique, terrifying thing thats fun.

    I was looking at that last night -- if they dont want the kid to be back-up, I don't think this is a bad pick up for back up.  Other good options are hurt and this dude played very well once upon a time.
    NHL/Goalies can be like catching lightning in a bottle and having lots to roll through to try and find the guy (in place of actually having a stud G) might be a good thing.

    they are going to have to give away Stolarz most likely once Lyon and Neuvirth are healthy. I don't see them having 3 young goalies on the Phantoms. why not just let Stolarz be the back up until Neuvirth is back?  just another stupid wasted veteran the franchise doesn't need.

    I completely agree with the Pickard addition. He's not a veteran, I believe he has 50 NHL games played and he has good numbers.
    He is better than Stolarz and Lyon and more reliable than Neuvirth. With all the injury question marks to these goalies(Elliot, Stolarz coming off major surgeries, Neuvirth always hurt, Lyon presently on IR), Pickard may end up being the starter by Halloween.

    I went to the one in Pittsburgh 2 years ago. was the coldest i've ever been in my life.  tailgate was fun but the game sucked because of the cold.
