Found this video of "Starship" from the Philly show.  For me, this was one of the highlights.

so.....a band that couldn’t draw a crowd 50 years ago is now a big thing?

    cuz PJ covers them?

I don’t need to see some seventies-somethings trying to reclaim their youth.
MC5 my friend was probably the most vicious raw band around, and assaulted anyone in their path....a shit load more than Pearl Jam could ever do (which PJ would agree with)
Just watch the below....watch and learn

Every time I drive past that place, I envision the video you posted.  The guy whose name is at the top of all the old Detroit concert posters (uncle Russ Gibb) was a teacher at my high school.  He used to have some wild stories about the Grande Ballroom.  Can't wait for the show in Detroit.

See you in Detroit hombre...for Detroit's finest!

Absolutely!  Are you going to St. Andrew's, The State Theatre (or whatever they call it now), or both?

We decided on St. Andrew's....love that joint, and steps away from The Detroiter for some heavy pre-drinking
