Not Exactly PJ related but I hope that everyone in the Carolinas/ Virginia and depending on what happens the entire eastern seaboard takes care this week,  Florence looks like a monster.  Be safe, take care and look out for your friends, family and neighbors.

Moved from NC about 9 months ago and thinking about all my friends back there. Looks like a powerful storm. Parts of SC are being evacuated. Thoughts and prayers to everyone on the eastern coast.

Hoping every body in the east coast staring down the barrel of this storm heading their way is planning and preparing. Be safe out there. As someone who is from and lives in Miami, these storms are nothing to take lightly. If you are in an evacuation zone, evacuate. Don't try to ride these storms out.
  • Stay safe everyone. Columbia, SC may not end up getting it too bad, but it sure could flood pretty easy. Thinking of all my friends on the coast these days ahead.

Also please take care of your pets, especially the 4 legged ones. Not sure if the shelter situation has changed from the past but nobody should have to leave behind a dog or cat. Too many stories of people being forced to abandon animals.

Flooding is my concern as well. I keep having flashbacks to the flood three years ago. For a second I thought of leaving and going to stay with my brother in Asheville but it looks just as bad up there.

Yep. we have the potential for some severe flooding here too. Johnson City might be an option. I guess every hotel south and including here are probably solidly booked. over 1 million evacuating the coast.

Yes wishing everyone safe travels, safe stays, and communication with whoever you need to communicate with throughout.  Just hope everyone's taking it seriously, there always seem those who dig their heels in even if they have options to go elsewhere.

Also wishing for everyone a safe option that they can access.  Good luck everyone!

That CAN'T be a real liquor store!!  Is it?  Is it pronounced "Bug-o-lay" or something?  How could anyone name their store that?
