    Hmmm I'd probably be curious enough to try it on a pizza if everything else worked with the mustard.

    Meatball pizza from Regina Pizzeria in North End Bahhhson earlier this week. Hit the spot.

    A New York City pizzeria is setting the internet ablaze with its mustard pizza. The Detroit-style eatery uses mustard instead of tomato sauce on one of their pizzas, and tops the creation with corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese.

    Not yet...have been trying to stay off the pizza drug but we were down the shore again this weekend and when in Ocean City I feel like a few slices at Manco & Manco is proof of life.
    If you ever make it to the OC Boardwalk you need to enjoy them -- a bit of a sweet sauce and they commit the sin of putting some cheddar in with the mozzarell...and it fucking works.  It shouldn't, but it does.
    The Sicilian looks too big/puffy but the only part of the crust that really crunches is the outside...the inside if like puffy, wonderful, saucy, cheesey, oregeno-y, heaven. 

    On a pizza related note, the 4 year old asked me to cut his slice up...and I made a point to cut one and to let the other one cool wayyyy down.  (He is a slow eater, anyway)  Asked him to do me a favor and trust me -- and I did the fold and got him to eat a few bites of the 2nd slice (they get regular cheese, not the Sicilian) the proper way with the fold/tilt. 
    He said he preferred to eat it when 'Dada cut it up.'

    Oh well, will try again next time.  I would rather him enjoy it and learn by watching everyone else. 
    You fold and eat.  This is the proper way to eat a slice.  ;)

    Proper only if you prefer to eat sheets of thin cardboard and don't want the grease spilling all over you.  The fold "rule" is so dumb.

    I respectfully disagree -- but yes, if you are eating thicker pizza (like Sicilian/Grandma or [shudder] Deep Dish) then you certainly wouldn't want to do that.

    I am happy to let him eat it how he likes, even if he tells me he thinks the fold rule is dumb.

    With kids, the fold rule is really something you want to encourage.
    It is sort of like getting a cup to go with the cone when you get them ice cream.  Cup & cone?  That sounds crazy?
    Not after you watch them drop the shit on the ground a few times....and have to deal with that.  OR, they eat slowly/lose interest, and the shit drips all over everywhere.
    Folding the pizza keeps the cheese there and not on the ground/table/hands, etc.

    Folding pizza is key,  Shit I even folded my grandma Sicilian last night. No fold is so foreign to me.
