I would guess anywhere from $30-$40. I should look at Ebay and check the sale price history.

There is no history that's why I was curious, haven't seen any for sale in a long time.

How do you know if they are fake?

Because they are backward from the picture posted above. The lettering is punched into the front, smooth side, instead of punched up from the back side. The holes are on the opposite side. Thought they seemed kind of cheap. Oh well, maybe I'll let the seller know...

Definitely let the seller know. Not cool passing off fakes.

To make this whole situation even worse is that I'm a Veteran and I told him that from the get go, and how these hold special meaning to me, but he obviously didn't care and sold me fakes anyways. Not only me but 4 other people to, and thats just what I know of. There may be more. So needless to say I'm still ISO a pair of these. Lets make them real this time too please lol.

It'd be very helpful in getting to the bottom of this.
So far, we've only seen pix of some tags that were loaded into the stamping machine one way (stamped from the back with hole on the left) and others that were loaded the opposite way (stamped from the front with hole on the right).
Remember that these were a very cheaply made item - they only cost $5.00 at the time when I bought mine from the Ten Club. As I recall, mine were stamped from the back with hole on the left.

I posted pics of the ones that I bought that I thought were fakes, but not so sure now, in this thread:

I do not believe those to be fakes. Here's why. Mine are punched the other way.... not like the ones in the pics....I've worn them daily for about 15 years. I bought them right at the start of your 2003.....later in the tour I bought sets for my niece and nephew... directly from merch stand inside the show...and they are punched like the ones in the photo.
