Net to catch foul balls

Hi, random question here.  Do they remove the net behind home plate and along the foul lines during the show?  I know they didn't at Wrigley (annoying), but I'm trying to remember if they do that at Fenway or not.  I'm trying to figure out if I need to get other seats.  Any help is appreciated!

We were about 15 rows behind the home dugout at Wrigley N1 and I thought the net was going to be horrible.  Once the show started & the lights went down though, the netting really wasn't that noticeable.

I was about to post the same.  100% agree.  Sure, it would be nice if it wasn't there, but the way it's set up I imagine it would be hard to take down.

7:30 was the scheduled start in Wrigley but they didn't go on until about 8:30 on the night it didn't rain.  Netting wasn't really noticeable during the show at Wrigley.  The bigger issue with seats behind the netting is that you're just really far away from the stage.

Nope, nope, nope. They will start earlier than that. Tix say 6:30, there’s a VERY strict 10:30 curfew at Fenway.

The only reason they started after 7:30 N1 last time was because people were assuming a normal start time and weren’t bothering getting to their seats early enough.

I would say 7:30 would be the absolute latest they start this time. I’m hoping for and thinking it will be more like 7 this go round. It would be VERY wise to be in your seats before that.

Once the show starts you’ll hardly notice the nets. I was surprised they were still up at Wrigley but they did not effect my enjoyment of the show one bit.

For sure, it's nuts that they don't. I have to assume it's because they never installed them with the intention of making them easily removable? That must be it - surely they would bother if it wasn't a permanent feature..... right? :pensive:

Yeah it's "not bad" but it could be better.  It would seem appropriate when you are renting your facility for a concert.
