I thought the HOB event was $1, but when I go to enter it says $37. Did I miss something

I think your credit card is charged $1 when you enter the drawing as a hold on the card.  If you win, you are charged $37 for each ticket.

Its $37 - the $1 is for authorization.

    Drawing Rules:

Members entering a drawing will have a $1 authorization held on their cards. If selected during the drawing, this $1 authorization will become a final sale charge for admission for two. If not selected, the $1 authorization will be canceled and released back to your card.

Anyone know the difference from 2016? Why it was free then (because the venue is happy they make the bar profits no matter what), but this time it's $37/pair of tix and you have to buy both tix?

Somebody said in the other thread that the venue was free for the band last time around.  This time, I assume they had to pay to rent it.

They also said that was their guess, not that anyone official had said it.  Curious if anyone knows why the change?

"this $1 authorization will become a final sale charge"   So doesn't that mean it's supposed to be $1??!?!?
