For Fenway do you prefer a slow start or a good fast one and what would your first 5 be?
Lots of negative talk about merch and rail rats lately and some of it rightfully so. I would like bring the discussion back to music for a bit. We only have 2 shows to go this year and it has been a wild ride so far. My question would be do you prefer the band to do a slow start like they did in Fenway 2016 and ease there way into the fast stuff or do you want them to do something similar to Wrigley 2 and come out guns blazing? I for one love the slow starts. Some of my favourite songs are the slower ones and this gives me a chance to hear more of them hopefully. Also with a 7:30 pm start there will be plenty of light still out there and I feel that it would set the mood perfectly like it did in 2016. I put that last option in there because you just know that someone is going to say it. This is just for fun and not a demand! Here are my first 5 with Interstellar into Corduroy to follow
1. Wash
2. Hard To Imagine
3. Sometimes
4. Present Tense
5. Release (just as it starts to get dark)

It also depends on the songs. I love Sometimes and Of The Girl early in the set, but I very much dislike Pendulum and Low Light. For someone else, it could be the exact opposite. So to each their own.

Drop in an immediate early set, ala Tweeter 3 in 2003, Gorge 2005, Santa Barbara 2006
With that in mind I will create a crazy set list that is almost as likely as snow on September 4th
Opening set from 6:30 to just around sundown....
Thin Air, Jeremy (no Jeremy version played in 95 and 96), Hard to Imagine, Corduroy (alt version played at 1996 bridge shows), Waiting on a Friend, Nothing as it Seems, Falling Down, Lukin (acoustic slow), Red Mosquito, Fatal - break
do whatever the hell you want after that, even if you just wave buh bye I'd be good.

2. Of The Girl
3. Sometimes
4. Low Light
5. In My Tree
All three outstanding songs but halfway through Long Road my brain would be wishing Why Go or Animal was being played. Sometimes I get amped up before shows and the slow starts just drain that energy and when it gets crazy it isn't as good.
