    The Metro was a long painful day.  Cubs did play that day while Metro sold stuff.  I think the other two tent areas opened on the day of the show because the Cubs were gone by then.

    There were several around the entrance gates, and in the upper deck. Shorter lines as well. Some separated into cash only lines too. 
    Thanks. I was able to do that back at Fenway in ‘16. Went in as soon as gates opened and was able to grab a few things right away.

    Exactly.  And the majority of people that bought them promptly walked to the lower levels, and they were on eBay the next day.

    yeah, I just want a hat (well, 3 because I need backups) and whatever is the cool looking poster. Maybe a flag because I have the other 2. 

    Shirts will be probably similar to the Montana and Seattle and I'm meh on them.

    Was there a separate merch booth for the GA folks?  Seen that at a couple of shows for other bands, but this will be my first Wrigley GA experience

    hasn't been GA only booth in the past.  There is one close by...like 25 steps away..... if it's same setup this year.

    Yeah, my wife grabbed a sweatshirt @ night 2 near the left field wall in 2016 during the 1st encore.  Not sure if they will do it again this year, but I can confirm it was there two years ago.

    There will be a merch stand on the field inside.

    The Seattle merch tent went up one hour prior to the Mariners game vs. Toronto on Sunday (3 days prior) so the fact that there was a game didn't seem to deter things. So, if they go by the same 3 day prior timeline that means it would go up Wednesday. But, who knows what they will do.

    Strange that we haven't heard anything.  A lot of theories are out there.  Maybe the alderman (Tunney) is trying to tighten up lines since it sounds like there were complaints back in 2016.  Any chance they are trying to do something different like a Pop up store away from Wrigley?

    I can't see a pop up, but who knows.  You could be right with the alderman aspect.  He makes the craziest rules about everything.  Can't blame him.  Wrigleyville was wild in 2016.
