Android Pay/Google Pay Issues

Having issues downloading my tix for Home Show on the 10th via Google Pay/Android Pay. Does anyone know if they’ll accept the screenshots I saved to my phone at the gate if there is an issue? Any suggestions appreciated!

When I go to the playstore to download the Google Pay App...i get a message saying "your device isn't comparable with this version".  My phone is less than a year old, FFS!   Can't I just download these effing tix to my phones hard drive??

I just did it about an hour ago and it worked well for me.  Easier than I thought it would be, especially since I did not even know I had that app!  Not sure what the issue on your end is but I was able to just skip over all of the cc/paypal stuff (don't want it) and go right to the "passes" button and the tix were there waiting.

Is your phone running the most current operating system software available to the device? Check for an update.

The app is preloaded in the Google suite on most Android phones. The Play Store should let you enable and update the app instantly.

Phil...most current OS is updated/running...and no preinstalled app in the Google suite.  Is there another app that may work?

Try clearing Play's data and cache in your phone's app settings. Relaunch Play and try to install Pay again. Not sure if it will work, but it's worth a shot.

I sent my tickets to my "Pay" account, whatever that is, and poof, they are gone.  Terrific

I think I had the same issue. They said they were downloaded to "Pay", but I couldn't find them there. Went out and updated all my apps and then re-started the phone and there they were in the Pay app. I'll bet it was the re-start that did it.

    TAKE. A . SCREEN. SHOT.
HARD.  TO.  TAKE.  A.  SCREEN SHOT.  WHEN.  TICKETS.  ARE.  GONE.

For many of us yesterday, we didn't know there was a problem until we went to download the tickets.  The reason many of us waited until the day of the show (but not the last minute before the show, this was early afternoon) was because GIVEN they can only be downloaded once, if there were any issues with the phone or you lost your phone or who knows what happened that made accessing your phone hard, you had the option to download to whatever phone/device you needed to that day.

Today I know better and even though I haven't downloaded my Friday ticket, I've screen shot it with the bar code visible and I emailed that screenshot to myself so I can get it from anywhere as long as I have internet access.

But yesterday... there was no reason to know that a screenshot would be necessary when everything seemed to be working and the tickets DISAPPEARING was not on anyone's radar as a possible issue.

Don't even get me started on the bag restrictions that - beyond "no backpacks or large bags" no one saw coming either...

All that said, I'm still grateful I got fanclub tix, still enjoyed a great show with many special moments, and still grateful the PJ fan community is as helpful and gracious as most of them are.

Make sure you guys actually have Google Pay installed and not just Pay Send.

Okay....here's the deal.  When I attempt to download Google Pay from the Play Store, I get an error message that states, "your device isn't compatible with this version". I've checked for updates for my phones OS, I've cleared caches and data, I've rebooted, got on the web and tried a few suggestions there as well, pretty much tried everything....no luck. Weird thing is any other app in the Play Store is downloada for me...EXCEPT Google Pay.  I emailed the 10c folks yesterday, and waiting for a response.

I'm guessing I'll just bring up my tix on the Ticket Master web-site 20 minutes before I reach the gate, and simply use that for gate access??

Thanks.  Tried reinstalling the app, etc earlier.  Re-booting my phone did the trick
