Hypothetical - Home Shows Tickets

From the FAQ - 

"I don’t have a smartphone, but my guest does.  Can we use my guest’s smartphone?"
"Yes, the tickets are not tied to a specific device until they are downloaded..."

If both tickets are downloaded to the guest's phone, how do the ticket checkers at Safeco know if either attendee is the Ten Club member?
