(Hey, don't be scared to try and make a profit man.)
Thank you, Allison. The only way I could make a profit on my book would be to sell it for over $20 plus shipping. I think (hope, anyway) it's a good book but it's not that good, lol! The profit for me is the feeling of accomplishment and the hopes that others will find something to enjoy in it."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
A Paul Westerberg ticket on the cover means i’ll be buying this one in the near future.
I’m judging a book by its cover!0 -

I’m judging a book by its cover!Thank you, cp3!LOL, it would be even better if I'd kept my ticket stubs from The Who and Jimi Hendrix. On the other hand, there are photos I and a friend took of both those bands in the book to make up for no stubs!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
Hey friends, A few of you who are in Canada inquired about my shipping costs. I have lowered shipping to Canada to $15.00 The average cost for me to ship to Canada is actually a little higher than that so that's best best I can do. I think that's a bit outrageous myself, so I'm sorry it's so much!I've had problems with shipping to Canada so I'm only keeping the shipping cost to there lowered until the end of the month. Thanks, Friends!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

I received my book! thank you. I've only read the preface and introduction. The part that stands out thus far is when you say if you don't interact with the band (show energy) why even go?I agree, but I've been around these parts enough to know a lot won't agree with that. The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.0 -

Much appreciated. One of the scary and oh-so-difficult things for me about writing a memoir (even when the focus is on a particular subject like music) is that in my writing, I very often think of what Edward Abbey once said about writing an "honest book". His writing was at times brutally honest. He offended everyone he knew (and I mean everyone!) but felt strongly that the primary goal of his task was to be honest. I tried to balance that thought with the knowledge that I have biases that will often not be 100% right for everyone. I tried to be honest but not offensive. At times I agonized over that. My biggest concern is that I probably will have offended some of those of my boomer generation for calling us to task for being so idealistic in the 60's yet letting so much of that slide in the pursuit of all our creature comforts. I tried to balance that out by pointing out the good things we have done as well. It will be interesting to hear from some of my peers that way."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

Wonderful! Congrats! I hope you are proud of your book. But I guess you also feel a tad bit of emptyness now that it is finished. I know I did when my book was finished. You work on it for so long and all of a sudden there is no book to work on anymore, since it is completed.
