    also really discouraging to the fans to keep losing out on these posters. Possibly to the point of some even losing all interest in collecting and purchasing prints altogether.

    I agree. I don’t even bother. And like I said, it’s sad to KNOW I’ll never own another poster going forward. I can’t even count on coming here and hopefully getting a reasonable from a fellow fan. Prices here are almost higher than eBay and/or they’re just used for trade bait.

    Oddly I got a text from visa verified with an authorisation code 1 hour 45 minutes after the sale...Had it in my cart , went to paypal but I didn't get to check out so that is very strange...

    I agree with this but from a brand perspective, there is some cachet that comes with sought after assets/products. Not saying I agree with it but it could be true in this case.
