    Conceptually I agree with this - we all have some ‘seeing what’s convenient’ going on, but I’m also not sure I agree about liberals’ eventual acknowledgment of hypocrisy at some point or time.

    I’m a progressive. I can comfortably admit Obama-era and Obama-led mistakes. I can admit a new engagement in Russia-US affairs only since the obvious impact on US minds (which I frankly don’t care about - if you can legally influence a population with mediocre and confusing as messaging, go for it) and see misactions on Obama’s part. 

    I have ease taking people seriously when they communicate through logic, and I have a hard time taking people seriously when they refute logic. We shouldn’t be trying to re- or de- liberalize each other, we should call out and disqualify invalid facts, and debate with valid ones, nothing else.
