    DJ is good

    shot a 95 today. Some decent shots, some decent putts. Kept the ball in play, just super inconsistent. First round in a good 6 months though

    Unless you are normally a single digit handicap, I would say mission accomplished for being the first time out this year.

    I played yesterday and got two birdies (it is a big deal for me to get one birdie let alone two in a round).  Was pretty stoked.  My problem is putting two great nine's together.  It has been a stretch of 49-42 type of rounds.

    Apparently Rickie got engaged last week so it lines up for one of those feel good/coincidence stories if he won.

    Shinnecock!  I can't wait for this tournament.  So much golf.

    Going to be a good test.  Bouncing back and forth between Rickie and DJ.  Rickie has spent a ton of time there, DJ is hot but hasn't played the course.

    I'd love Phil to finally get his, but I'd be ok with Rickie or DJ as well. And obviously I'm rooting for Tiger.

    Love it.  Love to see these guys looking like me out there.

    The Shinnecock pro predicted 6 or 7 under as the winner assuming the wind is light.  Today sounds like the worst wind and it looks brutal, but really showing the need to keep it in the fairway.
