Yay for Rob!  He inspires us all to stay cranky!

I'll hijack his thread again to say thanks for the well wishes, good vibes, and hugs.  I can use them all!
I can't say goodbye to 2017 fast enough.  It's been a terrible year for me in many ways but I'm doing OK so far with my cancer.  Doc says I won't lose my eye although my eyesight will probably be affected.  My tumor is shrinking and responding to the radiation just as it should be and I'm being monitored by an oncologist; no sign of metastasis!  Getting rid of the tumor is a verrrry slow process, at least a year, so I'm learning a lot about patience and follow up appointments.  All that monitoring will go on for years but it's OK, I'm doing what I need to do.

Looking back at some of the posts about ultrasounds made me laugh.  I still get an ultrasound of my eye each time I see my ophthalmologist.  It's pretty weird.  They put in some eye drops that numb my eye, then it's just like any other ultrasound.  They put something gooey on my eyeball and rub a wand over it.  I've gotten used to it, along with all the other weird things they do to my eye.

Here's to more kicking cancer's ass in 2018!

“positive” is not an adjective often assigned to me.
