    just wondering what people think of the orange sticker on the zippos from the factory... the white map you can see the sticker sat to long and left a residue, should we (collectors of the zippos) be pulling them off?

    My 2 cents? Yes..pull that sticker off ASAP and gently clean any residue with plain warm water. I have done that on all of mine and no ill-effects yet...

    yes I have done the same thing, peeling off the sticker as soon as I can, and in my opinion they are still mint with the sticker off, and it is better as a collectible that way too.

    awesome collection Dave!  Sold mine because I couldn't afford to collect zippos, vinyl, and posters haha.  I eventually sold off my vinyl and stuck to ONLY posters.

    he relisted it yesterday with another digit on it. I'm guessing he had a typo and cancelled it selling for under 100

    Ah... Too bad, lol. Although not totally, because if I'd missed out on a $93 Aussie map zippo I'd be pretty mad, haha.
