$964 Canadian?  Isn’t that like 50 bucks in US dollars?

    I think I paid $50 for mine,  =)
a great score on lost dogs from someone who’s awesome.
i know I wouldn’t pay 750 for a zippo, I can’t bring myself to spend 500 on my holy grail.
but I guess what choice do you have, I caved to buy a ohana last year and that was 250 but my justification was to set my set going, but now I have all but given up hope of a Brazil zippo

A Brazil Zippo is being offered on Facebook for trade .  He's not on the forums but I can connect anyone looking for one and interested in a trade .

 I think the rate is actually running around 0.78 right now. Not great but not terrible either. But I really really miss that glorious, all-to-short time back around 2008 or something when it was 1.10! .... Not to many good things to say about the 2008 crash, but that's one of them. If you're Canadian, lol.

The listing is over. Says no longer available. Amazing how these have become such a collectors item. They don’t appeal to me much. Tough to complete the set with these crazy prices though.

Do the lighters work? I bought one from an EV show in 2011 and remember trying it. All it did was spark and never actually flamed. I haven't tried since.

Stupid question, but did you add lighter fluid?

    I'm also betting on no.
but honestly, if someone has never used a zippo before it's understandable.

I'm regretting selling the collection of Zippos that I originally had.  And cheap too...  Sneaking them into Aussie mail was the most stressful, until now, seeing the price they go for.     Oh well!
