    Interesting read. It neatly encapsulates the cognitive dissonance required to maintain a racist identity as a whole, while maintaining reasonable relationships with certain individuals within the hated group - his wife didn't really "look Jewish" or "act Jewish", so she was okay, even though she was demonstrably Jewish. He loves his brother, even though he's black -  but "only a quarter black".  Hey, buddy - maybe that means some of your thoughts about these groups of people are incorrect.

    I saw what looked like an ambulance on the side of the road in the small coastal town of Inverness, California today.  But upon closer inspection, I noticed the lettering on the side of this vehicle said:

    Saving the world
    One beer at a time.

    Along with how much sense this thread makes, the state of the world ebbs and flows.  But "saving the world one beer at a time"? What a glorious way to end a mini-vacation!

    I'm completely fucking lost.
