Hate is a strong word that I only use when referring to Collingwood , Nickleback, Taylor Swift and Paul Gallen/Andrew Fifita in the NRL. I dislike the Tigers, for no real reason. But always pretty happy when a powerful Melbourne team loses. No dislike for the smaller Melbourne clubs, just the big 4 (Pies/Tigers/Bombers/Hawks and I suppose Blues, but they have been a rabble for longer than the Lions)

Fair enough. Pies make me sick, always hogging the news headlines even when irrelevant.
Andrew Fifita is a f***wit. Supports that one punch killer on field, what a disgusting prick.
    Why Paul Gallen?

I've never been a fan of Gallen's. I personally think he's a drug cheat (no evidence, just things I've heard from unsubstantiated rumours, and this was before the Dank saga) and also think he's an absolute grub on the field. I also don't like his style of football, which is more about his stats than helping a team win.

Spot on about the Pies, have been irrelevant for a long time, but still top of the media interest. Helps to have a powerful media type in charge.

I have a lot of mates who are Tigers fans, so I suppose I've gotten sick of hearing about them over the years (and especially in the last year!!). Good on them for winning the flag though, they deserved it

I was happy for them. AFL is better when they are going good, a packed MCG of Tigers fans makes me envious.

    Howcome you dislike Fifita?
Worst was when he scored the winning try when they beat Storm in the GF.

Fifita is not a good human IMO and there's multiple examples of why -
     - He and his brother abuse a junior referee at a game, never stand up and say I was wrong, then goes on TV and cries about his depression as an excuse (I'm not belittling his depression, but own up to your mistakes)
     - The wrist band writing in support of One Punch Killer
     - He's an absolute grub on the field
     - I have no problem with him playing for Tonga, but under the rules (because he was selected for Aus and turned it down), he shouldn't be allowed to play Origin or for Kangaroos for 2 years. Now he wants to play games 1 and 3, and play for Tonga the week of Game 2. He's not that good, so I have no idea why NSW would even consider it. Hope they pick him and Qld smash him again

That try he scored in the GF was the worst possible outcome!! I never minded the Sharks through the 80's and 90's, but changed when Gallen came through. They are up there with least fav sports teams anywhere now, especially with Fifita thrown in

Yeah I didn't mind them winning but for him to score, fk that.
I hated his excuse for supporting that one punch killer, he said something to the effect of that those that criticised him didn't grow up in the western suburbs.

We are definitely improving, but it will take time. Whilst we have only won a game, we have been competitive in most games apart from the abomination against Richmond. I like the list we are building and definitely think Fagan is the right coach to take us back to finals. I can really see us jumping up the ladder as early as next season, into that 12th spot range and then continue moving up. It's been a long haul with many players leaving, but we are finally seeing most of the young list resigning, which is great

Yes exactly...look at Melbourne this Season who would of thought?...and I have to admit even the Eagles have surprised me this Season...so for Brisbane to make the Finals in the next couple of years is quite realistic...
