Saw the Afghan Whigs tonight, it was a really good show for anyone planning on seeing them. Dulli sounded great.

The Weepies were wonderful! They play so well together and happily so. It was fun to watch them. Such great talent.  It is great to be able to watch two people authentically talented and sharing that joy of music with others.

Gia Margaret was fabulous to watch and especially with Mama Deb coming out to sing a few songs with her.  Looking forward to her album due out in June.

As always, a great time to be had with my ticket buddy. I'm thinking that we need to get matching folding concert stools for The National Homecoming coming up in a few weeks. Seems to be what the cool kids are doing!

I never thought I'd get to see these guys live and it was an INCREDIBLE show...
Steve & Deb were so much fun to watch and I loved all the chatter too!!
No way would I ever bring a folding stool to a concert and expect to set it up & sit down in the pit,
what a tool that guy was.
BTW...I'm still singing "Stars" today!! :rock_on:

If you want to see The Pixies. maybe do July 7 in Chicago with Weezer instead. Its a Saturday, and Weezer is good live. Unless there's other acts at Summerfest on 7/4 you want to see as well.
    This weekend we rock Portland
