    Have tickets to:
Neko Case opening for some dude called Ray Lamontagne (June 23 or June 24); I'm more inclined to wait for a headlining show from her, though
seriously ray is more than just "some dude" but maybe u r saying that in jest or don't really know!

I don't really know, but a couple of friends have shared with me some YouTube links. So I guess I know better now than I did when I originally posted. Despite my friends' encouragement to see him, though, after watching the videos, I'm still inclined to wait for Neko headlining shows. Sorry to fans of Ray Lamontagne, but the stuff I've now listened to sounds to me like an indie rom-com soundtrack, and that's just not my type of music.

zero worries. i have yet to see ray live but from what i have read/heard by many good people is that he is one hellofa a great songwriter and that has always peaked my interest...yet he is still on my bucket list to see...soon i hope.

The stuff I heard was more for the uplifting part of the hypothetical movie -- you know, when the protagonist realizes that s/he's not going to let all these setbacks deny his/her shot at true love.

He's got a nice soulful voice, for sure.

Just got tickets to see Social Distortion in Chicago for both shows

    175$ tickets?
General admission both nights $37 before taxes and fees

Considering tickets to see Alice Cooper in Rockford (October)
The only 37 dollar tickets I saw for those shows is in the balcony.
Can you get floor tickets for 37?
I've never been to a show in the balcony.  I'll have a good time so
Thanks, didn't mean to annoy with all the questions.  :)

The Weepies were wonderful! They play so well together and happily so. It was fun to watch them. Such great talent.  It is great to be able to watch two people authentically talented and sharing that joy of music with others.

Gia Margaret was fabulous to watch and especially with Mama Deb coming out to sing a few songs with her.  Looking forward to her album due out in June.

As always, a great time to be had with my ticket buddy. I'm thinking that we need to get matching folding concert stools for The National Homecoming coming up in a few weeks. Seems to be what the cool kids are doing!

I never thought I'd get to see these guys live and it was an INCREDIBLE show...
Steve & Deb were so much fun to watch and I loved all the chatter too!!
No way would I ever bring a folding stool to a concert and expect to set it up & sit down in the pit,
what a tool that guy was.
BTW...I'm still singing "Stars" today!! :rock_on:
