Picked up this today. Quite excited but I think I'll have to let it sit for a while.

Two Brothers Pinball I tried at their Naperville location tonight. I had never had it. Thought it was really good. Pretty light and easy to drink. Good summer beer.

^ what beers in particular have you been enjoying as much as zombie dust? I’m always looking for alternatives and suggestions that are just as good with similar taste. I don’t know enough about the hops to get too technical, but I believe ZD uses citra hops. I think for my tastes that kind of hop is the best tasting, but I definitely enjoy plenty of other types.
I didn't mean ZD clones or other ZD like APAs, just in general, so much good beer (especially in the PA category) has emerged in the past 7-8 years since Zombie came on the scene.

    HA Tuna
    HA 2xDC
    HA Brewery only Pale Ales
    Fist City
    Maplewood Charlatan
    Brickstone
Basically any NEIPA brewed in chicago (Paper Wings, Cumulus, Gummy series, Son of Juice)

I love Citra hop as long as its still a couple week old after canning/bottling. Once it usually hits the 4-5 week mark, I tend to get an onion taste from it. And while I love onions, its not the best profile in beer.

Thanks! I’ll have to give the ones I haven’t had a try.

Fresh definitely = better. I’m starting to realize I like mosaic hops as well. Citra seems to be my favorite though.

I recently had the great pleasure of trying Zombie Dust and I will say that I am not impressed...

I'll have to try another one to make sure that my blasphemous statement holds true.

Y'all need to look up Grimm and Finback breweries.  They have been producing some great beers!

    ^ Blasphemy! ;)

Would love to try those but they’re NY breweries, right? I don’t believe they distribute here but I could be wrong.

I’m surpirsed you’re getting an onion flavor from citra. I only get it from buttering hops like summit and warrior.

I blame it on not being fresh enough. :pensive:

A couple of these in there. Experimental hops really come out and it's only 4.5%.

So you get to drink several craft brews to get a good buzz instead of only a couple/few? That could be great for the day long drinking times!
