I was going to throw out Glen Mills as a suggestion too.

Some others in that area that I like are Broad Run and Loch Nairn.

Some good Pocono-area courses are.....

-Jack Frost Golf Club
-Mount Airy Casino and Resort
-Skytop Lodge
-Country Club of the Poconos

Have heard really good things about Skytop and Broad Run.  Not sure how I haven't played Broad Run yet.

Also, Scotland Run in Jersey is a course I like a lot.

Skytop is nice. Resort type of place where some holes are near condos and others go through the woods. Some cool elevated tee-offs where you can grip it and rip it. FAST as lightning greens too. Fastest of any Pennsylvania course I've played.

Broad Run is really nice, but it's also one of the hardest courses I've played.

Gilbersville Golf Club is a really nice 27-hole course in that area worth checking out as well.

edit:  would also add he made 5 consecutive presidents cup teams where he has an above .500 record which is more impressive considering the int'l team always gets whooped at these events.

He was a good golfer and I had a feeling my Weir hate would get some reactions.  He is about as vanilla a Master's winner we have had outside of ZJ and has taken up tons of sponsors exemptions over the past however many years since he has been bad (hurt too, I guess) .  Think he is officially done now though, right?

He's playing some Euro events and web.com events to get ready for seniors tour.

Not fancy by any stretch of the imagination but have had an absolute blast here. Will likely be a hike for you though.

Chesapeake Bay (Hyatt): Much nicer (and more expensive). Only one course, I believe.  Did this one as a stop on my way down to the Outer Banks.

If you drive by, Renditions is a pretty cool course that has been talked about a bit in here i think. 18 holes that are replicas of major holes.

Also, an oldie but goodie from my old stomping grounds. Turning Stone may be what you are looking for.  Upstate New York, 3 nice courses, casino and convenience.

Haven't been but along a similar lines, I know people who have done Rocky Gap in Maryland and liked it. Not sure how many courses they have or anything.

Sounds like the golf version to my version of Cubs opening day. Steamed Chicago style hot dogs with all the fixins, Cubs kerchief for my fur baby, a Cubs hat and shirt for me. 

I always enjoy the Masters as well. Tiger being in the hunt would make ratings explode and golf wants it...TV wants it and I want it. Being up north, I think a lot more people enjoy it because we get to see so much fresh cut green grass and all the plant life. It reminds us that the beauty of spring/summer are well on their way.

The Masters truly is one of a kind.  I work there during the tournament when my schedule allows it.  It's even more beautiful in person and never ceases to amaze.  Augusta National is heaven on earth in a golfers world.  

Being an employee at the Masters is very eye opening.  Ive been fortunate enough to see a lot of the areas that the public never gets to see.  The behind the scenes type of stuff is just as impressive.  I might type up some my experiences later on and share them on here.

Hell yeah. I love going to tournaments and having a few whiskeys and just enjoying the amazing skill these guys have while quietly riding a nice buzz. And of course cheer at the appropriate times.
