It really has grown on me every time I've listened to it, and it should be even better live.Abe Froman said:So excited to hear new PJ!!!!! Can't Deny Me is great. The email that just came through had "This mailing is to _________ from Pearl Jam and Virgin EMI Records" with a Universal Music logo on the bottom. Same email subscription that sent out the Lightning Bolt emails in 2013.0

I always get the impression that those threads are talking about kids younger than 9. I think 9 is on the cusp at worst for 99% of fans, because none of the arguments against kids at shows really apply to 9 year olds, i.e. they don't remember shit, it's a scary atmosphere, they can't really enjoy the scene, it's too late for them to be awake, they will be a pain in the ass for people around them, etc.HughFreakingDillon said:

I am personally one of those fans who is VERY against little kids at rock concerts (or at least being anywhere near me), but 9 seems okay to me. Just. I mean, I can't say I'd be happy to be next to one, but it wouldn't ruin the show for me either, like a young child would.

Life wasted wasn’t the single, it was WWSPJNB said:
Did MYM, The Fixer, or Life Wasted really set the tone for those albums? Not really imo.iOnlyownMymind said:
Especially a lead single. Usually sets the tone for the album. The Juggler said:
Is the cover of a book part of the book or just a cover? Is the first single part of the album? Come on man. Terrible analogy. Of course you can project what album will be like based off of a song from said album.
People complaining that they are worried about the album based on one song, I assume you are the same people buying books based on the cover?my2hands said:PJ has released a badass new song, will be dropping an album, and will be touring a minimum of 3 continents including all 4 major USA time zones, and people still want to complain lol0 -
The post tagged Mark Guiliana, so I'm guessing this was something Matt was doing with him.HughFreakingDillon said:

If your response to an album announcement is to get upset about the annual single then you might be doing it wrong.

To order the new album from 10C or somewhere else? Wonder if we'll get a heads up about an exclusive color or will it be the usual random maybe surprise?1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, CaliforniaNothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
2022- Oakland Night 2
2024 Sacramento, CA0 -
This has to mean a full tour to support the new album right? End of the year or early next year? I sense some really good news and new rumors are going to start leaking.0

Man, this year is going to be great... new song (which I liked), a new album, new tour coming... I'll be seeing them at Lollapalooza in less than 2 weeks AND going to Seattle for the first time to see them in August. I couldn't have chosen a better time to take this trip! Bring it on!0
